Ticket Prices to Machu Picchu depend the type of visit you want to make and your nationality. It also depends on whether you are a student or not. Most nationalities (except Peruvians, Colombian, Ecuadorian and Bolivians) have to pay the full fee for the Ticket to Machu Picchu.

Important notice about type of entrance!
The alternative route Machupicchu Mountain: Will have 400 spaces per day, distributed in 2 schedules, the first hour being from 06:00 to 07:00 hours and the second hour from 08:00 to 09:00 hours. Visitors of this type of ticket must enter the Machupicchu Mountain route directly and leave the monument by the same path. This type of ticket will have the possibility of re-entering the llaqta to carry out the established tourist circuit.
The alternative route Huaynapicchu Mountain: Will have 200 spaces per day, distributed in 4 hours, the first hour being from 06:00 to 07:00 hours, the second hour from 08:00 to 09:00 hours, the third hour from 10:00 at 11:00 a.m. and the fourth hour from 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Visitors who access this alternate route must follow the established tourist circuit and will not be able to re-enter the monument.

Requirements for discounts:
- The entrance to Machu Picchu offers three different types of discounts: a) for university students, b) for those under 18 years of age and c) for citizens of Peru, Colombia, Ecuador and Bolivia.
- University students must be under 25 years of age and be pursuing undergraduate studies at a university (or institute with a similar degree). The valid document to make the purchase with a discount is the current university card. The ISIC card or registration cards are not accepted.
- Those under 18 years of age must have a passport or identity document that validates their age at the time of the visit to Machu Picchu. Minors under 18 years of age enter the archaeological site in the company of their father, mother or guardian.
- Citizens of Peru, Colombia, Ecuador or Bolivia must show their identity document or passport that validates their nationality. It is also allowed to show your residence card in these countries. If in addition to having these nationalities, the visitor is a university student or under 18 years of age; then the discount is even higher.
- Children under 3 years enter Machu Picchu for free. To do this, your father, mother or guardian must show the identity document or passport that validates your age.
