Day 1: Cusco – Andahuaylillas – Raqchi – La Raya – Pucará – Puno

Highlight of the Day: Journey through the breathtaking Peruvian Andes while discovering colonial churches, impressive Inca ruins, and traditional Andean villages on your way to Lake Titicaca.

Your adventure begins with an early morning hotel pick-up at 6:00 AM, followed by a transfer to the tourist bus station. Relax aboard a comfortable tourist coach with an English-speaking guide and onboard service as you travel through some of the most spectacular landscapes in southern Peru.

Your first stop is the beautiful Andahuaylillas Church, often referred to as the “Sistine Chapel of the Andes” because of its magnificent colonial frescoes. Continue to the impressive Raqchi Archaeological Site, once an important religious and ceremonial center dedicated to the Inca god Wiracocha.

Later, travel to La Raya Pass, the natural border between Cusco and Puno, where you’ll enjoy breathtaking mountain scenery and observe llamas and alpacas grazing across the Andean plains.
