Resting during the morning is highly recommended, allowing your body to adjust comfortably while preparing for the exciting experiences that await throughout your journey.
Your guided city tour begins at the magnificent Qoricancha, once the most important temple dedicated to the Sun God during the Inca Empire. Day 5: Rainbow Mountain Full-Day Tour

Your adventure begins before sunrise as we pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and travel through the scenic South Valley toward Cusipata, a traditional Andean village where you will enjoy a hearty breakfast. Continue by vehicle through picturesque mountain landscapes until reaching Llactoc, the starting point of your hike. Before setting off, your guide will provide a safety briefing and walking stick while explaining the route and altitude conditions.
Begin your hike across the beautiful Andean plateau, surrounded by herds of alpacas, grazing llamas, and snow-capped peaks. As you gradually gain elevation, admire the impressive scenery and traditional stone cairns known as Apachetas, which have great spiritual significance in Andean culture. After approximately one and a half hours of hiking, arrive at the breathtaking Rainbow Mountain (5,020 m / 16,466 ft). Day 6: Route of the Sun from Cusco to Puno
