Upon arrival at the Lima airport, you will be greeted by our company representative. After a transfer to your confirmed Lima hotel and assistance with the check in, you’ll be provided with everything needed in preparation for your upcoming journey.
Use this arrival day to rejuvenate yourself by resting or enjoying hotel spa services. If arriving early to Lima, take a scenic walk to Parque del Amor (Love Park) in Miraflores for views of Lima’s gorgeous coastline or dine in at one of the many gourmet restaurants throughout the city.
After breakfast, approximately 10:00AM, we will explore Lima’s historic center with a local guided. In this opportunity, you’ll get to know the attractions with more historical and cultural value within the center of the city, such as: Parque de Exposición, Plaza Grau, Paseo de los Heroes Navales, Plaza San Martín, the Main Square, Palacio del Gobierno, and the Cathedral of Lima.
The Historic Center of Lima was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991 since it comprises over 600 historical monuments from the Colonial era. After our visit, we’ll continue to the Miraflores district to have a panoramic view from the outside of Huaca Pucllana, one of the 54 “Huacas” found in Lima and a well-preserved Pre-Inca sanctuary inside the city.
After a morning of exploring and getting to know the history of Lima, you’ll have the rest of the day off to explore and continue to enjoy the city.
Early in the morning, we’ll continue down the Pacific Coast to meet our next destination, Paracas. We’ll travel along with the pacific sea breeze on a comfortable tourist bus.
During the bus ride, the beauty of the dunes and the vineyard valleys will continue to captivate us until we finally reach Paracas small town. After arriving at the hotel and making accommodation.
Optional: In the afternoon, we’ll continue to Paracas National Reserve awaits to be rediscovered, this spectacular location is home to over 400 species of flora and fauna. It was declared a national reserve in 1975 in order to preserve its diverse wildlife. We’ll be privileged to have a guided tour through this remote location, where we are going to see the Humboldt penguins, sea lions, exotic birds such as the red footed guanay cormorants, and more.
Today, get to the pier to board a boat to explore the Paracas Bay and its exotic fauna. Home to hundreds of thousands of seabirds, sea lions, cormorants, and Humboldt penguins, the Ballestas Islands are one of the most breathtaking sights along the Southern coastal desert of Peru.
Your motorboat ride will whisk you from the Paracas bay (where you are likely to spot a few friendly dolphins) to the Candelabra geoglyph carved into the cliffside and visible only from offshore. Next, continue to the Ballesta, and make sure to bring a warm, waterproof jacket and a hat for this excursion.
After you have had your fill of the Paracas sunshine, take a transfer to the nearby city of Ica, where a local guide will show you the dune oasis called Huacachina. Continue about 3 hours to the desert town of Nazca, where you can check into your hotel.
Early in the morning, transfer to the Nazca airport to see the famous Nazca Lines. Due to their impressive size, these 12 lines can only be fully appreciated from the skies. The overflight allows you to see all of them, including the monkey, eagle, and astronaut. The Nazca Lines were etched into the desert floor thousands of years ago but are still visible today due to the incredibly dry climate. There are many theories about the purpose and meaning of the lines, but none of them is conclusive. Take the overflight and try to unravel the mystery yourself!
After your Nazca Lines flight, take a comfortable coach for an 9 hours away passing through desert sands and coastal valleys.

In the morning, following breakfast, we take a guided tour of Arequipa, starting at the Plaza de Armas (the main square) one of the most beautiful in Peru, and the Cathedral, a fine example of 19th Century Peruvian architecture, which houses precious artifacts of gold and silver.
We visit the “city within a city,” the Convent of Santa Catalina, with its vibrantly colored walls and courtyards that remained cloistered for centuries and was only opened to the public in the 1960s. We also visit the Compañia Church, an old Jesuit complex, perhaps the most historically significant in Arequipa, with a beautiful church facade covered in columns carved into spirals, laurel wreaths, flowers and birds. Transfer back to your hotel.
We recommend you have dinner in the hotel, and have an early night, as your guide will collect you very early the next morning to start your journey to the Colca Canyon.
This morning we set off to the spectacular Colca Valley going up the foothills of Chachani volcano and admiring the Misti and Pichu Pichu Volcanoes. Then we cross the vicuñas reservation of Pampa Cañahuas where we can see these animals run free on the high Andean plateau. Peculiar villages will be around us. We will stop at El Chino restaurant for a short break, and at the Patapampa viewpoint, the highest point on our journey (4900 m).
Stop in Chivay village for lunch, visit Calera Hot Springs, and continue to your lodge for a relaxing night. After sunset, we recommend you peer up at the starlit skies untouched by light pollution.
After breakfast at 06:00 am, you will leave Chivay and go to the Condor Cross, where you can observe the deep Colca Canyon and the flight of the majestic Condor. From our hotel, it will approximately take one hour and a half until we arrive. You will stay there for about 1 hour and then taking the same road back to Chivay. On our way, we will visit the towns Yanque with its beautiful church and Maca with its interesting geological faults as well as the lookout points Huayrapunko and Quehuisha, from where you will enjoy a complete view of the terraces and the mysterious lagoons of the valley. Finally you will arrive in Chivay where you will have lunch and after that start your transfer in a tourist bus to Puno.
Crossing by amazing sceneries of the Altiplano, we will leave behind the gorgeous scenery of the Colca Canyon. On our way, we continue ascending a small road until we reach the highest point of our trip, the lookout point of the Andes (4800 m/15,748 ft). At the very top, we will get off of the bus for a few minutes and enjoy the stunning landscape with the great volcanoes including Mismi, Misti, Chachani, Sabancaya (active) and Ampato.
Along the paved road, we will see many small towns as well as the beautiful lagoon Lagunillas, where we can explore trout farms and observe Andean flamingos among many Andean birds. Following an ascending road we will then reach the Viscachani. We have a short break and stretch our legs, use the bathroom if needed and drink a typical coca tea or coffee at the local restaurant.
Later on, we will drive through the national reserve park of the Peruvian Altiplano to finally reach the beautiful city of Puno close to the majestic Titicaca Lake.
In the morning, we embark on a boat to explore some islands, the first one is the bizarre made-man floating Islands of Uros, its origin dates from pre-Inca times, considered as the oldest population of the Collao plateau. These islands are inhabitable surfaces made of totora reeds which grow in the shallow of the lake. Continue, we head to visit the Island of Taquile, noted for the art of weaving which can still be seen in the ancestral traditions. The Island also stands out for its beauty and quietness. Our lunch will be prepared by local people. Later, we return to the city of Puno.
In the morning, after breakfast, we start our guided tour that will take the route from Puno to Cusco, on the way will be few stops to stretch legs and visit few important spots such as the Pukara archeological site, don’t miss to get into the local museum. Then, we will stop at La Raya, the highest point on the route located at 4,338 masl or 14 232 ft. Be amazed by the snow-capped mountains as well as flora and fauna.
We will have an enjoyable lunch on route, then we keep our traverse passing by Raqchi, highlighted place considered as the principal temple of the god Wiracocha, built with clay and small rocks forming huge walls.
Last stop will be our visit to the Temple of Andahuaylillas also well known as the Sistine Chapel of Americas. Construction dating from the late sixteenth century. An extravagance place which on the interior has a variety of canvases, polychrome ceilings, walls, as well as carved wood finished in gold leaf. Final destination Cusco city, be transferred to your hotel of choice and have a good rest.

Enjoy an early breakfast in your hotel. Discover the fascinating historical and cultural legacy of the Incas in the capital of the Inca Empire on this 4-hour Cuzco city tour. Visit Korikancha, known as the Temple of the Sun during Inca times in the 13th-15th centuries, and the site of the Spanish Convent of Santo Domingo. In the evening, you’ll be taken out on the town for a night of Andean culture and entertainment including dinner and a folklore show. Dine on traditional Andean food while you are serenaded by a troupe of musicians and dancers wearing traditional garb and performing tunes andean.
Optional Visit: The Qosqo Center of Native Arts have daily presentations of typical Andean music and dances from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. We recommend you arrive 45 minutes in advance. Tickets are already included in the package.
Begin your journey through the Inca heartland with a full day Sacred Valley tour. The Sacred Valley of the Incas, just outside of Cusco, is a gorgeous sprawling span of green farms, lofty terraced mountains along with numerous quaint towns unmoved by time. The Sacred Valley is the center of lively festivals and the best handicrafts in Peru.
Our first stop is the artisanal capital of Peru, the small village of Pisac; it’s famous for its craft market in the main plaza, busiest on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, where local natives come to sell their colorful woven cloth, alpaca wool ponchos and fashions, reproductions of ancient jewelry, engraved gourds and much, much more. Pisac is the best stop in Peru for mementos of your trip to bring home to family and friends.
After a delicious lunch in Pisac, we’ll travel Ollantaytambo, the only Inca town that remains inhabited. This traditional town is a wonderful example of pre-Colombian architecture. Here, we will explore the expansive ruins overlooking the town and discuss their history and traditional beliefs of the people of the Sacred Valley.
Later in the afternoon in Ollantaytambo we’ll catch the train to Aguas Calientes to get ready to explore Machu Picchu early the next morning.
Today is the highlight of any trip to South America – Machu Picchu! This world-famous site is easily the most remarkable pre-Colombian city in the world, partially because of its mysterious beauty and its lofty place among the Andean cloud forest.
A guided tour will help you discover and understand what Machu Picchu shares about the life and customs of the Incas. Surrounded by dramatic terraces cut into the mountain sides, famed for innovatively feeding the empire, this complex city will have you fascinated all day. Narrow roads and steps connect ancient houses, temples, warehouses, and a large central square.
Our guide will give you a through history of the ruins and the Incas as well as share with you the possible explanations for Machu Picchu’s function and importance.
You’ll have free time for an optional and very challenging, unguided hike to the top of Huayna Picchu, where you will have the best view of Peru’s World Wonder. This hike is only recommended for people who are in good physical condition and with no fear of heights, but the unparalleled views of Machu Picchu are especially rewarding.
After a long day of exploring this lost city, we’ll hop the bus down the mountain back to Aguas Calientes and catch the train back to Cusco. Upon arrival to Cusco we’ll drop you off at your hotel for a good night’s rest.
Very early in the morning (at 04:30 am), we will start our journey across South Valley toward Phulawasipata, which is the starting point of our hike to the Montaña de Colores or 7-color Mountain (Rainbow Mountain), located about 100 km. southeast of Cusco city. After enjoying a traditional breakfast in the area, we will start our 1 hour hike to reach the control center and enter this mystical place.
We will observe how colors around us change due to the weather. We will reach an altitude of 5,000 meters, approximately, which is the top of this beautiful mountain. Geological formations will reveal all its splendor; the contrast of the blue sky creates a formidable line between the coast desert and the Amazon jungle, guided by the beautiful Ausangate Glacier. Return to Cusco.
After visiting Cusco, it is time to say goodbye to your private guide. At the coordinated time, you will be transferred to the airport to board your domestic flight to Lima, and then home.

We recommend bringing as little as possible but do bring what you need. Don’t worry, if you forget something, you can probably buy it in Lima or Cusco once you arrive. Tourist shops abound and sell a whole range of items from water bottles and first aid kits to hiking gear.
